1. Who we are
GenzPlays ("we", "us", "the Service") is a video-sharing mobile application operated by Mirja Minhajuddin, an individual developer based in Baduria, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we act as a Data Fiduciary. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we act as a data controller.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Account details — name, email address and profile picture supplied by Google Sign-In when you create an account.
- Channel details — channel name, handle, description, avatar and banner image.
- Content you upload — videos, Shorts, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, comments and posts.
- Payout details — if you enable monetization: your UPI ID (India) or PayPal email (rest of world), and the display name on that account.
- Support and reports — messages you send us, and reports you file about other users or content.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — videos watched, watch duration, searches, likes, subscriptions and playlists.
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate region and IP address.
- Advertising identifiers — where you have not opted out at the device level.

4. Automated content review
Uploaded videos are screened by automated systems, including Google's Gemini AI, to detect content that may breach our Community Guidelines. Automated screening may result in a video being held for human review or rejected. You may always appeal a decision and a human will look at it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your payout details with other users or advertisers.
6. International transfers
GenzPlays is operated from India and our providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by the provider.
7. How long we keep your data

8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity (DPDP Act). To exercise any right, email support.genzplays@gmail.com. We respond within 7 working days.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or via our web deletion page.
9. Children
GenzPlays is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. See our Child Safety Policy. If you believe a child has created an account, email support.genzplays@gmail.com and we will remove it.
10. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payout identifiers are stored encrypted and are never displayed in full anywhere in the app. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
11. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
